Hardwood floors can be used for any type of application. Factors that may influence the wood type and grade you choose include personal preference, how and where it will be used and your budget. Give Demopolis Hardwood a call at 334-289-8686, and we can discuss your options.

Grading is differentiated by the amount of knots, mineral streaks and color variation within and between boards. At Demopolis Hardwood, we offer Clear, Select, No. 1 Common and No. 2 Common grades, ranging from the least amount of visible variations to the most, respectively. More color variations and natural characteristics would be best for a high-traffic area to hide any imperfections caused by the high traffic.

Because wood flooring is a natural product, it responds to humidity variations by expanding and contracting even after it has been processed and put in place. The best way to reduce movement caused by moisture is to install humidity controls before flooring is installed.

We offer hardwood flooring that caters to any budget. We price by the truckload, or by the quantity of an order itself if it is less than truckload sized. Call us today at 334-289-8686 to learn more!
